Daniel York Loh

 

Biography:

Daniel York Loh is an actor whose theatre work includes Merchant of Venice, The Country Wife and Moby Dick (Royal Shakespeare Company), The Tempest and World of Extreme Happiness (National Theatre), as well as appearances at the Donmar Warehouse, the Royal Court, Traverse Theatre and more. 

He has also worked extensively in Singapore, performing in plays including Boeing Boeing (Wild Rice, Singapore Repertory Theatre), Jekyll & Hyde (Finger Players) and Dealer’s Choice (Pangdemonium) for which he won the Life Theatre Award for Best Supporting Actor.

His feature film appearances include Danny Boyle’s The Beach (2000), Scarborough (2018) and The Receptionist (2016) as well as appearing on the award-nominated web series Jade Dragon.
