Sibusiso Mamba

Biography:
Sibusiso Mamba is an actor, playwright, director, screenwriter, teacher and producer. Credits include Sizwe Banzi is Dead (Young Vic Theatre) and I See You (Royal Court Theatre), TV such as Doctors (BBC One) and South Africa’s Isidingo (SABC 3), films Crime : it’s a way of life (2009) and Wah-Wah (2005), among many more.

Sibusiso has written numerous plays, as well as writing for BBC Radio and several South African TV shows. He’s directed theatre in the UK and US, with his South African debut adapting and directing the Naledi award nominated production 6 Characters In Search of An Author in 2016.

In recent years Sibusiso has been working as Head of Scripted Fiction for Girl Effect - a global organisation that creates media brands to inspire and empower girls and young women to change their lives for the better.
