Abhishek Majumdar
Biography:
Abhishek Majumdar is a playwright, scenographer and theatre director based out of Bangalore in India and Abu Dhabi in UAE.
He creates work for multiple theatres, communities, symposiums, concerts and universities around the world. His work has been produced and performed in leading venues around the world such as Royal Court Theatre London, Deutsch Shauspielhaus Hamburg and Frieburg, Yale Repertory, Theatre Du Solleil (ARTA), Ranga Shankara, Prithvi Theatre, ITFoK to name a few.
He has been published and translated to multiple languages . He is Associate Arts Professor at New York University Abu Dhabi.
